Hot Springs!

YOUR RELAXATION IS OUR BUSINESS

The Hot water

Our hot water comes from a geothermal source that is created by the uplift of the Rocky Mountains. The nearby Chalk Cliffs form an ancient fault that allows water to circulate deep into the earth and return at 135˚ degrees and full of minerals. Our water has no sulfur smell and flows continually through the pool, creating a sanctuary for your body and mind. The Ute Indians used the healing qualities of this area for hundreds of years.

custom soaking tubs

Each cabin has a private, custom soaking tub right outside the door. The water temperature of the pools varies from 100-112 degrees depending on numerous factors, though each pool has a cold-water valve to moderate the water to your liking. The mineral-rich water is incredibly rejuvenating and will soothe all those aches and pains, leaving you feeling very refreshed and inspired. Although we appreciate the value of a more service-oriented “spa,” it is our belief that solitude in a private, Rocky Mountain hot spring can be even more relaxing. Sleep or soak at any hour of the day, clothing is optional, and nobody tells you what to do…or when to do it.
