Cottonwood Cabin is a restored, hand-hewn log, split-level cabin. It was used as the old Cottonwood Lakes post office at the turn of the century, and then moved (by horse train) to its current location around 1920. The addition was built on site, as was the quartz fireplace. The aging owner, Alma Cowgill, hand-built the fireplace after being unimpressed with the mason’s initial attempts.
Though smaller than Hortense, most people find that Cottonwood has a magical charm that you can’t quite put your finger on.

This is a two-level cabin. A five-step staircase connects upstairs living room and bedroom to downstairs kitchen, bath and bedroom.

POOL:
The hot spring pool is spring-fed and flows constantly. The pool is drained, washed and refilled between guests. (Depending on spring flow, the pool may not be totally full upon arrival but you can certainly soak! The pool should be full by 4pm.) The hot water runs continually to ensure you have the purest, most beautiful water for your soaking pleasure.
COTTONWOOD RATES:
$200 per night based on double occupancy
+ $15 per night for each additional person

Two-night minimum on weekends and holidays (99% of our guests regret just one night!).
Single-night stays occasionally become available; check our online calendar for current openings.
If you wish to pay by cash, please make arrangements when booking your reservation. We can hold your reservation with a credit card.

A 7% lodging tax will be added to the cost of your accommodation.

For $25 (per cleaning) we can provide additional housekeeping services. One of our friendly cleaners will come by between 11 and 2 to tidy up, and leave fresh towels. Please make arrangements before your stay. Stays of more than five days receive a mid-stay clean for no additional charge.
